In 2008 MLEA Inc. began working on the Design Certification for Areva’s U.S. EPR. The design certification process addresses the NRC rulemaking process which addresses various safety issues related to design, environmental impacts and operation of the plant.
In 2011 MLEA Inc. began working on licensing support for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Barakah Nuclear Power Plant units 1 and 2. The design is based on the Shin-Kori Nuclear Power Plant units 3 and 4 being built in the Republic of Korea.
